Mr. Jagdish Jena completed his graduation from the National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJA) and further attained his LL.M. degree from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata (NUJS) with specialization in International Law. While pursuing Masters in Law at NUJS, he was awarded the Saroja Gopala Krishnan Scholarship awarded for securing the highest grades and the Deshpran Birendranath Sasmal Gold Medal in International Law.
Jagdish has a keen interest in the field of academics and research. He has also presented papers in various national and international seminars. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC and is presently dealing with the subject of Interpretation of Statutes as well as the Specialization Paper on Intellectual Property Laws dealing with Designs and Undisclosed Information.
Jagdish’s research interests primarily lie in the field of International Law, Intellectual Property Laws and Constitutional Laws. Apart from academics, Jagdish has a keen interest in literature, particularly legal fiction and autobiography
